Concerning COVID-19 and travel restrictions worldwide, Communicating for Agriculture Exchange Programs (CAEP) continues to prioritize the health and well-being of Exchange Visitors (EVs), hosts, communities and all stakeholders.
As the nation’s leading agriculture exchange program for 35 years, CAEP would like to communicate our efforts to uphold our vision to interconnect the world peacefully.
Effective January 26, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will require all air passengers entering the United States to present a negative COVID-19 test (a viral detection test for SARS-CoV- 2 approved or authorized by the relevant national authority), taken within 72 hours of departure. Airlines must confirm the negative test result for all passengers before boarding. Airlines must deny boarding of passengers if they do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery.
What CAEP is doing:
- We continue to offer 24/7 support and open communication to our hosts and EVs
- We are closely monitoring Center for Disease Control and World Health Organization updates and guidelines
- We are adjusting the necessary DS-2019 arrival dates
- We continue to accept applications for future programs with the flexibility of delaying visa start-dates when necessary.
CAEP will do everything possible to update the information of any essential changes to programs or program participation. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via the CAEP contact page if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
CAEP Team

International Paid Agriculture Exchange Programs
Communicating for Agriculture Exchange Programs
CAEP brings young adults together from all over the world to share and learn ideas, beliefs, and agricultural practices through international paid agriculture exchange programs. Our vision is to interconnect our world peacefully through our paid agriculture exchange programs in order for our exchange visitors to identify themselves as world citizens transcending from any geographical, cultural or political borders.
For over 30 years, CAEP has given young adults an opportunity to experience the world and gain the confidence they need to prepare themselves for their future in agriculture. Through our agriculture exchange programs, rural families and agricultural operations also have a unique chance to be touched by other cultures, resulting in lifelong friendships.
